The movie stars Sean Connery as James Bond , Klaus Maria Brandauer, Max von Sydow, Barbara Carrera, Kim Basinger, Bernie Casey, Alec McCowen, Edward Fox, Pamela Salem, Rowan Atkinson and Valerie Leon. Film's Plot Outline: A SPECTRE agent has stolen two American nuclear warheads, and James Bond must find their targets before they are detonated.

Trivia: This "Bond film" was not part of the franchise produced by MGM and Danjaq. Kevin McClory, who was producer and co-writer of Thunderball (1965), won a legal battle against Ian Fleming to make his own Bond movie.

The settlement stipulated that it had to effectively be a remake of Thunderball.
