Sean Connery Gruen James Bond vintage watch to repair 1950s famous 3-6-9-12 dial

This James Bond Gruen watch has the identical 3-6-9-12 dial that is most famous for this iconic watch, but this is the rare chrome case version with silver markers on the dial. With the right restoration work, this watch will be a fantastic and very unique collector's piece.

A 1950s James Bond 007 Gruen 510 sub seconds watch that will give you the popular collector's look at a fraction of most dealers' restored retail prices. The 17-jewel Gruen N510 movement is complete and the balance swings freely, but it is not running, overwound.

It will need at least a cleaning, maybe more repair. This is a vintage Gruen 510 stamped case marked Made in Switzerland with a Base Metal silver-tone top and Stainless Steel back. Also stamped on the back.

The pictures show this watch and its individual parts under 2.5X magnification. Comes with a winding stem installed that will need to be trimmed.

Case measures 33.0mm across and 40.2mm top lug tip to bottom lug tip. The dial is 29.5mm across and is marked SWISS at 6 o'clock.
